To delete your New York Times account, and request your data to be deleted, follow the URL linked. Fill out the form to request the deletion of all of your personal data. You might be required to confirm the request by mail or another form of contact.
Alternatively, log into the web version and go to the Account homepage and scroll to the Privacy section. > Select Delete your account
* If there is an active subscription associated with your account, you will need to cancel the subscription and wait for benefits to end before you can delete your account.
Confirm the deletion and click Select Delete Account. Once the account deletion process is complete you will be logged out on all devices.
To delete your New York Times account from their app:
In the Settings section of the app, select Privacy Settings. > Select Delete Account.
Review the guidance for account deletion and select Delete Account > On the pop-up confirming the action, select Delete Account.
